Why is Bar di Passo so special?

Bar di Passo is the bithplace of Aperitivo, opened by Davide Campari in 1915. Today as it was then you can sip our iconic Campari Seltz cocktail perfectly served in the shadow of the Duomo, along with our range of Campari classic cocktails.

Campari Seltz

The icon of Camparino in Galleria, served perfectly chilled since 1915 at the Bar di Passo counter. Red, sparkling, historical, bitter.

Campari Shakerato

The only cocktail made up of a single ingredient, Campari. The elegance of semplicity, it represents the maximum expression of the Italian Aperitivo. Velvety and bitter.

Garibaldi

A cocktail that brings all of Italy together, from the fresh orange of the south to Campari, made of Milan. A legendary cocktail made from the original recipe of Dante New York City. Defined by a tasty creaminess given by whipped orange juice. Fresh and juicy taste, the all day Aperitivo.

Negroni

Simple and balanced, one of the most popular cocktails in the world. Invented in 1919 by Count Camillo Negroni, who asked to add gin instead of soda in his Americano, in honor of his trip to London. It represents the perfect balance between dry, sweet and bitter taste.

The origins of this cocktail hide a host of legends, one of which is that it is a variation of the Milano – Torino cocktail that American tourists visiting Milan used to ask at the Cafè Campari, Gaspare Campari’s bar.
